About the Artist
Jason Peters, born in Hope, B.C., is of Salish ancestry. His artistic journey began in school art programs, where he developed an appreciation for coastal formline and traditional characters. Over the years, he has worked with several mediums, including yellow cedar carvings such as boxes, plaques, and masks. His primary medium, however, is acrylic on paper. With over 25 years of experience, Jason continues to create work that people admire and connect with.
